Terms and Conditions

Agreement:

  • The Company shall be responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and removal of any employment requirements that are placed on the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) system.
  • The Company shall present, on the MOAA system, only genuine and current employment requirements with the Company.
  • MOAA assumes no responsibility or liability for any personnel selected by the Company.
  • The Company represents that any selection, retention, or hire of any individual or entity will be based solely on the Company's investigation, verification, and determination that such selection, retention, or hire is suitable for the Company's purposes.
  • The Company agrees to hold MOAA harmless from any claims, damages, or losses incurred by the Company or any other party as a result of use by the Company of the MOAA system.
  • MOAA reserves the right to screen all employment advertisements, and to post only those that are, in its sole discretion, deemed appropriate for its members in job transition.
  • No advertisement submitted by the Company shall reflect, imply, or contribute to any discriminatory actions or practices or improper bias. MOAA reserves the right to edit any advertisement to remove any such offending language or implication.
  • The Company assumes sole responsibility for ensuring that the content of its advertising is true and accurate and conforms to all applicable laws, standards, and regulations. The Company further represents and warrants to MOAA that it has all necessary authorization for the placement of the entire content of its advertising within the MOAA system. MOAA reserves the right to decline any advertising, or to discontinue further publication of any advertising, at any time and for any reason, and shall not be liable in any manner as a result of such action.
  • The Company shall not attempt to submit a 'blank' résumé search request in order to acquire all résumés in MOAA’s Career Center database. Such action may result in termination of service.
  • The Company shall not submit a résumé search request for the purpose of acquiring information to be used in marketing, spamming, etc. Such action may result in termination of service.
  • MOAA reserves the right to terminate service to any company, and is under no obligation to provide an explanation for such action.
  • MOAA reserves the right to refuse publishing a banner advertisement if it is found, in the sole discretion of MOAA, to be derogatory or in any other way inappropriate.
